Carlota Pérez de Castro  develops an abstract painting practice rooted in gesture, emotion and embodied perception. Working through dilution, layering and automatic writing, her paintings function as fields of emotional resonance where colour becomes a form of thought rather than representation.

Her work has been exhibited internationally in cities including Madrid, New York, Milan and Seoul, and presented in institutions such as Palacio de Cibeles, Fundación Miró and Museo Conde Duque. In 2025, she was included in Forbes 30 Under 30.
