Fausto Amundarain, born in 1992 in Caracas, Venezuela, is a visual artist whose research draws on multiple references, initially exploring identities reflected in childhood icons, comics, press photographs and other elements of the collective imagination. His creative process involves meticulous interpretation, revealing an observed obsession translated into an extreme care for every image, element and discovery. His artistic production focuses on generating powerful interpretative stimuli, developed with a high level of technical skill and rigorous attention to the construction of each project. He studied Art and Design in Caracas in 2010 and later expanded his training in printmaking, drawing and painting in New York in 2014.

Amundarain has held solo exhibitions in Washington, Marbella, Madrid, Caracas, Maracaibo and Mallorca, and has also participated in group exhibitions and art fairs in Belgium, Luxembourg, New York, Frankfurt, Mexico City, Miami and Basel.
