Natalie Rich (Paris, 1964) lives and works in Ibiza, where she moved in 2018. She enjoys using large spaces to express her art, such as the 30 m² wood and ceramic artwork for the ceiling of the reading room at the new Soho House in Ibiza, as well as the very large relief frescoes she created for the Beaumier Group’s Petunia hotel and for the Luxury Hotel Partners’ Teranka.
After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, her work is regularly exhibited in the Parisian galleries of Simone Kervern, Véronique Smagghe, and Acte 2.
Curious to find a different language, she experimented with various media, such as video and photograms. Her work has been presented at Paris Photo, in Arles during the international photography festival (Rencontres photographiques d’Arles), and at the European Center for Photography in Paris (MEP). Her works have been acquired by prestigious public collections and private collectors.
Rich never stopped painting, exploring abstraction and kinetic art. These works, supported by Hervé Van Der Straeten, were regularly exhibited in his gallery and joined the Roger Vivier collection. Hermès selected one of her paintings for its “Carrés d’Artiste” series.
Natalie Rich began working with ceramics in 2015, taking a pictorial approach and transposing her drawings onto clay forms, creating a clay alphabet and a ceramic cabinet of curiosities, which were presented at Can Art 2025, the international contemporary art fair in Ibiza. Her works are also regularly exhibited at the Galeria Tambien in Ibiza, of which she is the co-founder.
