Liu

Zigsen Liu (b. 1992, Anhui, China) is a contemporary painter whose work explores how technology and digital environments reshape human perception. His canvases are known for their luminous haze, smudged features, and layered brushstrokes, which capture the surreal feeling of inhabiting a computer-generated reality.

Liu has shown his work globally with notable solo exhibitions, including Erasure in the Permanent at the Iris Art Museum (2026), Unnamed Vision at the Hive Center for Contemporary Art, Meet on the Edge at the Future Gallery in Berlin, and OUT OF THE FLOW at the Steven Turner Gallery in Los Angeles. His works are held in major institutional collections such as the National Museum of China, Shanghai START Museum, and the Beijing X Museum.
