Multidisciplinary artist Karimah Hassan presents her most ambitious series to date with If Thoughts Become Things, a solo exhibition at In-between Ibiza. Created during a residency in Dalt Vila, this collection of 12 large-scale works (2–3 meters wide) is a vivid, dreamlike response to Ibiza’s landscapes—both iconic and hidden.

Known for her bold use of color and dynamic storytelling, Karimah shifts toward a more immersive, introspective approach in this series. Drawing on the island’s unique light, energy, and invisible magic, each painting becomes a portal into the imagination, asking profound questions through evocative titles like “Where Is This Taking Us?” and “What Colours Do You See When You Close Your Eyes?”

Through scale and emotion, Karimah invites us to reflect, dream, and reconnect—with ourselves and the world around us.
