"Drawn by Nature" at Ocean Drive Talamanca
24.06 - 29.06.2026
Ocean Drive Talamanca will host "Drawn by Nature" as part of its collaboration with CAN Art Fair Ibiza 2026, an exhibition curated by the Ibiza-based gallery In-Between. This year, in addition to returning as the fair’s official hotel, Ocean Drive Talamanca joins CAN Local as a collaborator, reaffirming its commitment to the island’s artistic community and to supporting cultural initiatives that take place during Ibiza Art Week.
Bringing together the work of Malvina Kang Hughes and Jenna Bitar, this exhibition explores abstraction as a language of connection: to nature, emotion, memory and presence. Though their practices emerge from different landscapes, both artists engage deeply with the natural world as both subject and source of inspiration.
Together, their works offer two distinct yet complementary approaches to abstraction, creating a space of stillness, sensitivity and discovery, where the boundaries between inner and outer worlds begin to dissolve. Presented in Ibiza, an island long shaped by creativity, spirituality and a profound connection to the natural world, the exhibition creates a dialogue between place, memory and the elemental forces that continue to inspire both artists.
CAN Local is an initiative by CAN Art Fair Ibiza designed to spotlight the cultural, artistic and exhibition projects taking place across the island during the fair, helping to strengthen connections within Ibiza’s cultural community and support its creative ecosystem. CAN Local is presented with the support of Ocean Drive Talamanca.

Malvina Kang Hughes
Malvina Kang Hughes creates meditative paintings using natural pigments, rainwater, sunlight, and earth itself, allowing the elements to leave their imprint on each work. Her paintings become records of movement, intuition, and the rhythms of her landscape.
Jenna Bitar
Jenna Bitar's richly layered compositions draw from memory, emotion, and her lifelong connection to the lush environment of Bali. Through organic forms, textured surfaces, and atmospheric colour, she creates evocative visual spaces that invite contemplation and personal reflection.
