Collective Exhibition at In Between Gallery

The gallery presents a group exhibition bringing together five contemporary artists: Malvina Kang Hughes, Jesús de Miguel, Chloe Phoebe, Poppy Fawn and Jenna Bitar.

Inspired by the rich history of Dalt Vila, where the gallery is located, the exhibition is structured around the idea of “finding treasures in an ancient city.” Through different practices and languages, the artists explore notions of discovery, heritage and hidden narratives, evoking the layers of memory that inhabit historical spaces.

The works engage in dialogue with their surroundings, suggesting unexpected findings and latent stories that emerge between the visible and the invisible. Like fragments of a contemporary archaeology, each piece invites the viewer to reconstruct stories, to pause on details and to rediscover what seems familiar from new perspectives.

The exhibition thus proposes a sensory and conceptual journey that connects past and present, where the act of observing becomes a form of exploration. A project that, through art, reactivates the imaginary of the ancient city and invites us to search for, and find, beauty in what is hidden.
