Mina Abouzahra x The Green Art Project
24.06 - 28.06.2026
During Ibiza Art Week, Mina Abouzahra presents a selection of her work at Odeum Boutique, located within Soho Farmhouse Ibiza. A Dutch Moroccan artist and designer, Abouzahra works at the intersection of collectible design, art and craftsmanship, building connections between Moroccan textile traditions and contemporary design.
Research into weaving techniques across Morocco lies at the heart of her practice. Working closely with a women led weaving cooperative in Taznakht, the artist contributes to preserving artisanal knowledge passed down through generations while supporting direct forms of collaboration that foster the economic empowerment of the women involved.
The presentation brings together some of her most representative works, including the Abouzahra-Rietveld Armchair, hand woven tapestries, rugs and furniture pieces. Through these works, Abouzahra explores weaving as a cultural language capable of carrying stories, symbols and forms of knowledge, while highlighting the contemporary relevance of traditions deeply rooted in Amazigh culture.
As part of the exhibition, the artist will host three private guided tours on June and 26, offering insight into the processes, techniques and references that shape her practice. An opportunity to engage with a body of work that combines design, cultural heritage and a commitment to preserving and transmitting artisanal knowledge.
