"Mushroom Forest" at Nikki Beach Ibiza

For the 13th anniversary of Nikki Beach Ibiza, this special installation was created as a collaboration between Nikki Beach Ibiza and CAN Art Fair Ibiza, bringing together art, nature, and community in a shared celebration of creativity, connection, and the island’s cultural spirit. These mushroom sculptures were carved from fallen Ibiza trees and symbolize connection, transformation, and the invisible energy that unites people and nature, reminding us that we are all one.
Created by Ibiza-based Land Art artist Michel Vecchi, the installation is inspired by the mycelium network — the hidden system through which nature communicates and shares life — reflecting the spirit of Nikki Beach, where people from around the world meet, connect, celebrate, and share experiences together.
Each sculpture carries messages for humanity — Art, Joy, Vision, Magic, Peace, Love, Dance, Music, Vibes, Fun, Luck and Abundance. Beneath every mushroom, a copper spiral channels this energy back into the earth, resonating with the people nearby.

From the forests of Courmayeur to the landscapes of Ibiza, his practice grows from a deep connection with the natural world. Through sculptures and immersive installations, he invites visitors to experience nature as a place of reflection, protection and transformation.
