"Share the Light" at Espacio Micus

The exhibition Share the Light presents the ongoing research of Helene B. Grossmann into light, developed through layers of color, transparency and reflection that generate perceptual depth in her paintings. Trained at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden and later based in Munich, her practice has focused since the 1990s on the materialization of light as a pictorial element.

Her works are characterized by subtle chromatic transitions and a shifting perception that depends on lighting conditions. Through the superimposition of layers and the balance between transparency and reflection, the paintings construct a spatial experience that is activated through the viewer’s gaze.

The exhibition is complemented by works from Eduard Micus, Linde Bialas and other artists represented by the gallery, expanding the dialogue around perception, space and the possibilities of painting.
