Adam
Taylor
Adam Taylor is a British contemporary artist whose abstract, minimalist paintings explore the fluidity of identity. Working mainly in oils and with a restrained palette, he often uses grids to fragment and shift form, reflecting the ongoing transformation and evolution of the self.
His compositions echo the metaphor of fertile ground (spaces of growth, transition and rootedness). Through them, he cultivates new visual terrains where identity is never fixed, but a process of continual reinvention.
Taylor graduated in Fine Art from Cardiff School of Art in 2004. In 2022, he was selected by artist Sean Scully to exhibit alongside him in London, further cementing his place within contemporary conversations on transformation and creative exploration.
