Flora Castiglia was born in 1991 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From childhood, she was introduced to art by her mother, who was also an artist, and whose studio was the heart of their home. This early immersion in a creative environment strongly influenced her practice and led her to develop her own artistic language at a very young age. Flora began her career illustrating music album covers. This experience was formative and imbued her work with a sense of “musicality,” both in form and composition. Over the years, Flora has refined her expression, notably through the creation of exploded perspectives, the use of both muted and vibrant color contrasts, and the recurring presence of her motifs.
