Born in 1990, Idir Davaine lives and works in Paris. A visual artist, he focuses on abstract landscapes composed of bold color fields, covering his canvases with suggestive and fluid shapes. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2017, he relies on photography as an essential tool: he captures moments from his everyday surroundings, which he later reinterprets in his acrylic paintings. By exploring line, form, and color, Idir deconstructs and rearranges elements of mountains, forests, and natural landscapes, creating abstract scenes that are dynamic and vibrantly colored.
