Julio Galindo is a Seville based artist trained in Fine Arts at the University of Seville, where he studied Painting and Printmaking before turning to ceramics. He uses this medium to construct a contemporary mythology that revisits the sacred, the spiritual and the religious from a present day perspective. Through pieces that elevate everyday objects to the status of symbols, Galindo questions what we consider holy and where we find what is truly essential today. His work invites us to discover the spiritual in what is close at hand, proposing new ways of connecting with that which transcends the visible.
