Rolankay is an artist born in 1989 and currently based in Madrid. His work is articulated primarily through painting and drawing. Originally from the Atacama Region in Chile, his practice is deeply influenced by the desert landscape of the country’s north.

After an initial period in the field of Psychology, he decided to redirect his career towards the visual arts, combining his artistic production with teaching and editorial design. He trained in Illustration at the Instituto Profesional de Arte y Comunicación Arcos in Santiago de Chile, complementing his path with self-directed research focused on painting.
