The need to create has always been a constant. Painting began early, shaped over the years of study at the National Academy of Fine Arts. Curiosity then led to enrolling in the Fashion programme at the National Academy of Art in Sofia. After two years immersed in the world of styling and design, the pull of painting proved stronger. The decision was made to switch specialisations within the same academy and return fully to the painting department, marking the beginning of a deeper, more intentional exploration of image-making.

The academic environment in Bulgaria provided a classical foundation, but a new perspective emerged during an Erasmus exchange at the Brera Academy in Milan. There, experimentation with colour moved to the forefront, followed by a growing interest in form and distortion. The graduation project became a turning point: an attempt to convey human presence and emotion without relying on physical dimensionality.

Shortly afterwards, participating in the Sofia Art Fair as part of the emerging artists’ selection marked a public starting point. This was followed by a first solo exhibition. Since then, the journey has continued with evolving projects, an appearance in Art Start, and recognition as Visual Artist of the Year by the Stoyan Kambarev Foundation.
