Sergio Gómez, also known as Srger, is an artist shaped by public space, a context that has deeply influenced the way he looks at the world. His gaze is drawn to everything that appears by chance or is left behind in the street: paint remnants, wooden boards, textured walls, marks on the pavement, adhesive tape, debris, scratches. This attentive observation has led him to develop a visual language that fuses gestural, almost calligraphic movements with colour fields created through the use of diverse materials.
