Negrini
Silvia Negrini was born in Sondrio in 1982, and presently lives and works in Milan. After graduating from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, she has conducted research on painting by using a minimalist language to depict interior landscapes or isolated, desolate places, seen as immobile backdrops awaiting passage of someone, or as the site of an event that has just taken place. Her works are marked by a synthetic, rigorous and schematic construction. Her work has been featured in various group and solo exhibitions. The latest experiences include VIR, Via Farini in Residence in 2022, E_solo Silvia Negrini at Luogo-E, curated by Luciano Passoni and Federica Mutti in Bergamo in 2022, and Muri d’artista, curated by Rossella Farinotti, for the Cittadella degli Archivi of the municipality of Milan. Since 2024 she collaborates with Antonio Colombo’s gallery in Milan.
