From an early age, I was always creating with my hands. After studying fine art and advertising, and later working in interior design, I felt the need to change — to let go of my mind and follow my feelings and intuition. I began again with my hands, returning to the most direct way of expressing myself.
Philosophy
I am anti-perfection. Beauty lives in the crooked tree, the misshapen apple, the unintended line. My work embraces imperfection, spontaneity, and raw emotion. Inspired by Cobra art and outsider art, I reject rigid rules and boundaries. I create quickly, instinctively, and honestly, allowing the unexpected to appear.
From “Who Am I?” to “Who Are We?”
At first, my work revolved around the face — a reflection of identity and emotion, asking the question Who am I? Over time, new forms emerged:
-
Hands, symbols of embracing, uplifting, and holding.
-
Feet, standing for strength, grounding, and stability — both together with others and within myself.
-
Natural elements, such as flowers, growing from nature itself. They remind us: we are nature.
This evolution has led my question from Who am I? to Who are we?
Materials & Process
I returned to the basics of black, white, and ink, stripping everything back to line and essence. After discovering a truer self, I began integrating childhood memories into my work — like sand from my father’s garden in Ibiza. This gave rise to the terra colors of Ibiza, opening a universe of natural tones.
In my art, you’ll find symbols most people can relate to. I believe art doesn’t need to be complicated — it should speak a universal language.
My Work
Whether in black and white or natural earthy colors, my style is best described as naïve brut — intuitive, raw, and unfiltered. I don’t see myself simply as a painter or artist, but as someone who must release emotions and feelings through creation.
