The gallery was launched in February 2021 by architect Ricardo Pernas (Zamora, 1989) and art historian Marcos Rioja (Madrid, 1993). We started the Arniches 26 project in February 2021 with the aim of supporting artists within our closest artistic circle who, like us, had not had the opportunity to enter the market due to a lack of backing. Arniches 26 is committed to emerging artists with a solid and promising practice that shines a light on what is happening in Madrid’s cultural life.
