If CAN has spent a decade imagining the future of contemporary art, Mahou has been there from the very beginning, creating spaces where culture can be shared, experienced, and celebrated. Since its inception, the fair has consistently challenged conventions, subverted spaces, and broken away from excessive solemnity without abandoning critical thought. It is in this same spirit that the Mahou Space at CAN Art Fair 2026 comes into being. Through this initiative, Mahou once again demonstrates its commitment to contemporary art by connecting artists and audiences and supporting hundreds of five-star experiences linked to art and culture.

Conceived as an ephemeral Playground, the Mahou Space invites visitors to enter, touch, and let themselves go. A place that did not exist yesterday and will not exist tomorrow, yet finds its meaning while it is happening. Because what truly matters, in art and in life, happens now. The space is built from inflatables, swings, light, and soft forms: an expansive architecture that becomes the social heart of the fair, hosting the Mahou Talks, the bar, and proposing a different way of inhabiting art.

Since the very first edition, Mahou has accompanied CAN Art Fair, sharing the same understanding of culture as something living, accessible, and collective. For ten years, CAN has served as a testing ground—a space to experiment with new perspectives, formats, and voices. The Mahou Space embraces this legacy and translates it into experience: a place to pause and activate at the same time, to listen, toast, meet, and keep playing.
