KAVE GALLERY by KAVE HOME
5-8 MARCH

Kave Gallery, the artistic project of Kave Home, takes part in CAN Art Madrid for the first time. It was created with the intention of preserving and sharing the stories of the Mediterranean through art: a living and plural territory formed by layers and contrasts, whose identity is recognized in its ability to integrate diversity and transform the coexistence of eras and traditions into a shared culture.
In keeping with this perspective, the proposal presented at the fair invites visitors to approach art from its origin. For this edition, the project recreates an artist’s studio, the place where works begin to take shape. An environment that allows viewers to understand how materials are worked, which decisions define each piece, and how traditional techniques enter into dialogue with contemporary approaches. The creative process becomes central, revealing the complete journey of each work, from the initial engagement with materials to the final result.
About Kave Gallery
Kave Gallery collaborates with artists whose trajectories engage with the Mediterranean from technical, cultural, or personal perspectives, offering a contemporary and in depth vision of this heritage. Its proposals reflect the diversity of a territory in constant transformation and show how art can give continuity to these stories.
Each work proposes a distinct way of approaching the Mediterranean and is understood as a fragment of memory: a narrative that connects its creator to a culture and that, when integrated into other spaces, keeps a legacy alive. Art thus becomes a means of cultural transmission that connects past and present through a shared root.
Areté d’EmpordÃ
Areté d’Empordà develops their practice in close relationship with the landscape of the Empordà region. Their pieces engage with the rhythms of the Mediterranean environment and rely on ceramics and other techniques to explore the possibilities of matter. Their work begins with direct contact with materials and a perspective that values time and process as essential parts of each piece.
Paco Romero
Paco Romero works with textures, pigments, and volumes to build a distinctive visual language. His pieces evoke architecture and the material memory of the Mediterranean from a contemporary perspective. Each work is constructed through a search for balance, where tradition and experimentation coexist naturally within the same language.
