MOVISTAR PLUS+ X SIRAT

The desert is growing. So much so that it has claimed a place inside the fair.

Inspired by "Sirat", a Movistar Plus+ original film shortlisted for two Oscars and nominated for 13 Goya Awards, the Movistar Plus+ space at CAN Art Fair Madrid 2026 will be an immersive installation transporting visitors into the atmosphere and sensations of the universe created by director Oliver Laxe.

Located in the central plaza of the fair, the space breaks with the typical environment in which contemporary art is usually displayed: sand on the floor, rocks, speakers, screens, industrial materials, and a scenography designed to be walked through and experienced. In addition, the Movistar Plus+ space will host the DJ set that will soundtrack the fair’s opening and function as the sonic core marking the rhythm of each day.

With this proposal, Movistar Plus+ reinforces its commitment to contemporary creation, both as a mark of quality in audiovisual production and as a promoter of spaces and content that connect with contemporary culture.
