At CAN NewHouse will present an all-female selection: Julie Haverkamp shows her Fragments series, rooted in fleeting memories, landscape and sensory traces drawn from the island. Claire Witteveen known for her incredible use of colours and technique; for CAN Ibiza we deliberately show only her abstract work. Floor Merjenburgh exhibits FORM, a ceramic continuation of her research into gravity following Merged by Gravity. In addition we consider Suus Kooijman, presenting abstract works finished with beeswax.
