Zoido
Lola Zoido (Zafra, Badajoz, 1994) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection between the physical and the digital, investigating how we conceive reality in an era dominated by digital processes. With an approach that combines the analytical and the poetic, she addresses themes such as landscape, territory, and memory, moving away from traditional physical constraints to create layered realities.
Driven by curiosity and experimentation, her creative process focuses on offering a personal and reflective perspective on the world around her, delving into the hybridization between the physical and the digital. To do so, she employs both digital tools such as AR, VR, and 3D, as well as traditional media like sculpture. This combination reflects a fluid understanding of space, where her work can evolve in multiple forms. Moreover, she embraces glitch aesthetics and imperfection, using visual errors as aesthetic resources that symbolize the fragility of digital systems and the complexity of the technological age. Her work mirrors our present moment, where digital tools not only transform the creative process but also the way we experience and relate to art.
